Impressionen aus der Praxis

My home area is the western Baltic Sea. Heiligenhafen, Lübeck Bay, Flensburg Fjord to the Danish South Sea or in the east to Rügen.

Since last year I am also often in Croatia as a skipper on the road. I am flexible and will accompany you as a skipper / co-skipper or instructor in other areas. If it should be a trip on your ship, I am also happy as a co-skipper on the road. There is always something for me to learn.

Training

Everything you need to sail, we will discuss and apply in practice. I'm more the practitioner. Working with the nautical chart and explanation of the sea marks, trip planning, of course, also belong to the practice. But for the many other rather boring topics, for the SKS or SSS exam, I recommend a sailing school. Of course I also like to help there, but only limited.

Heavy weather sailing

The sun doesn't always shine. But believe me, so-called "bad weather" can also be really fun. Sometimes you can't choose, then it's good to have sailed in rough seas. My most violent weather was 8-9 bft. I don't have to have it too often, but it's exciting.

Sailing pleasure

I find fun and joy incredibly important in sailing. Also when training. Of course, the necessary portion of seriousness is also part of it, but not like in boot camp. Unless it is desired ;-).

I prefer a friendly and calm tone on board, also when docking and casting off. One hears often enough bad examples in the port.

Vacation cruises

You've always wanted to spend a vacation on a sailing ship, but you're worried about "going it alone"? Because you are worried about mooring or anchoring? Let me support you, as a "joker" and advisor. I am well-groomed, non-smoker, non-drinker and can integrate myself.

Costs:

The costs vary of course from the task and the area.

Hourly rates for pure port maneuver training from 60.00-90.00 €, depending on duration.

For transfer trips or vacation cruises, a daily rate is agreed. Depending on effort and duration.
